How to read a cryptoanalytics dashboard

A dashboard is not a "price chart" BTC"This is a snapshot of trader behavior and capital. Six metrics in the top panel answer four questions: how much money is currently in the market (total OI), who lost today (24h liquidations), where traders are trending (average funding), and what sentiment is prevailing (Fear & Greed). Each of these factors acts like a thermometer: it's not the number itself that matters, but its dynamics and how it interacts with others.

A strong signal is when metrics contradict the price. BTC in the sidebar, and the general OI grew by +8% in 24 hours - this means positions are being gained and the move will happen soon. High positive funding (above +0.05% for 8 hours) with an overheated BTC-Domination = classic preparation for cascading long liquidations. A sharp surge in liquidations in one direction often marks a local bottom or top—the crowd has been shaved off, and the market is looking for a counter.

The "What's Driving the Market Now" chart shows the top 10 coins by four key metrics. Growing OI Highlights the accumulation of new positions—volatility will soon follow where the money is. Extreme funding—a list of coins with a risk of short squeeze in both directions. Abnormal volume captures the pre-news movement: a spike of 5-10 times the weekly average—often followed by a sharp impulse. 24-hour liquidations—a pie of pain: the top coin here = a high probability of a rebound to the mean.

Typical signal combinations

Bullish accumulation

OI Rising, funding low or negative, price moving sideways, F&G below 50. Institutions are adding longs, the crowd is still scared. Entry point.

Overheating with longs

Funding above +0.08% / 8h, F&G above 75, shorts liquidated in the top 24h. Longs are paying for hold, shorts are knocked out – room for a cascading leverage lift.

Impulse on the news

A volume spike of 5–10x vs. a week without public news—someone knows first. Check it out. OI delta of the same coin: if +20% in an hour, the position is being filled aggressively.

Surrender

Liquidations of longs in the top F&G Below 25 and negative funding. The "everyone sold" scenario is historically near the bottom. It doesn't mean "buy now," but rather an indicator of "stop selling."
